Refer your textbook pgs 164-169
Your poster must include the following:
1. A statement describing what digestion is and its importance in the body.
2. Using color, draw a cartoon of the digestive system OR use images or other pictures to CREATE a picture of the digestive system. You may not, however, simply paste a completed picture of the digestive system on your paper.
Be creative…Have fun…But use good taste!
3. a.) Label each organ or tissue of the digestive system.
b.) Explain each organ or tissue’s role in the digestive process.
c.) Provide the pH of the organ’s environment (just those from book).
d.) Provide the enzyme(s) produced by the organ, including the enzyme’s substrate and product.
e.) Include six interesting or gross facts.
4. Name and briefly describe two diseases or disorders that afflict the digestive system.
5. You may include any terminology you like, by you must include the following terms:

understand the terms.
